Does our relationship to things change if the shoes we wear have been cultivated by us, if the plate we eat from is actually a living organism? These are some questions that the Design Matters exhibition addressed and we were honoured to be a part of it with our peel objects. The exhibition was held at Bildmuseet, Umeå, November 2019 - April 2020.
We exhibited our latest biomaterial research with works such as a table, wall tiles, lampshades, biodegradable cups and bricks, all made from different types of peels.
