Does our relationship to things change if the shoes we wear have been cultivated by us, if the plate we eat from is actually a living organism? These are some questions that the Design Matters exhibition addressed. We were honoured to be a part of it with our peel objects. The exhibition was held at Bildmuseet, Umeå, Sweden, from November 2019 to April 2020.
We exhibited our latest biomaterial research, work pieces such as a table, wall tiles, lampshades, biodegradable cups, and bricks, all made from different types of peels.
