Seg is a lampshade that comes from the idea of passing around the segments of a mandarin between friends and strangers. The design makes a reference to the source of the raw material – the easy peeler. Together eight Segs create a full sphere.
After being in slow development since 2015, it was a pleasure to create a set of lampshades to be exhibited at the Design Matters exhibition at Bildmuseet, Umeå, from November 2019 to April 2020.
